I’ve finally made the leap into possibly the most important (and expensive) piece of kit. I think a good nights sleep, at a very lightweight, will be crucial. I’m not sure of the exact weight of the ‘Long’ bag, but the ‘Regular’ is 566g. Which compared to the rivals is pretty damn good. It also has a comfort rating of 5degC which may not be enough during the nights, but I’m planning on sleeping fully dressed and possibly taking a bag liner which should improve the comfort rating down to closer 0degC.
Yet again the team at Likey’s and the guys from the Forum on www.themds.co.uk have been invaluable in terms of advice, and I feel I really have got the best bag for the job.
